Choosing the Left

Yesterday Connor went to the CTR 5 class for the first time.  He was pretty excited.  They talked about Choosing the right.  Last night before bed Connor didn't want to say prayers so I told him that if he choose to say prayers he would be choosing the right.  He looked at me and said, If I don't say my prayers am I choosing the left? It was pretty funny.  He is really trying to figure everything out.

Christmas

Here are some pictures of our Christmas in Arizona.  We had an awesome time enjoying warm weather and spending time with family.  Most of the Reed siblings spent the night on Christmas Eve...Santa had a big job delivering gifts to seven kids! We ate way too much yummy food, the kids acted out the nativity (it was enough to bring tears to grandma and grandpa's eyes), got jammies, my sister announced she is having a baby, (yeah Lindsay, Kris, and Alli!), my brother Steve announced he is getting married in June, and we were very spoiled!  We hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

And the WInner is...The Wilson's!

Last Sunday we participated in the annual Reed Family Ginger Bread Decorating contest...Chris and I won!  Each year the competition gets a little more fierce. We call in the neighbors to judge. It is always really loud, really messy, and always really fun! Here are some pictures from the night. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thanksgiving Woes

Tonight after we got home Connor was getting ready for bed and I asked him how his Thanksgiving was.  Right after I asked the question Connor's bottom lip went out and he started crying.  I asked him what was wrong and he said, "I didn't even get to eat any turkey." I told him I put some on his plate and he kept telling me I didn't.  He was really upset...I told him it would be okay because I brought some home to eat.  He was still upset.  He then proceeded to tell me that all he had to eat was a roll, green beans, and chicken.  As I was laughing I said, "Connor, the chicken was turkey." He got a huge smile on his face and said, "It was?"  He was then able to go to bed knowing he had eaten turkey on Thanksgiving.

Going Private

I know, I know...I love to blog stalk...but I think it is time to take the blog private. We live in a scary world and I would like to think crazy people aren't looking at my blog, but you never know. Please leave me a comment if you want to have access to our blog. Be sure to leave your email address. You can also send me an email to let me know.   I'll wait a couple weeks before I go private.
