Lyla Rae is Two!

Our Lyla Rae is two!  Where did the time go? We had a fun, relaxing day. We started out with homemade cinnamon rolls and then Lyla opened her gifts.  For dinner we went to Red Robin with Paki and Grandma and then home for cake and ice cream. Lyla keeps us all of us laughing with her fun personality.  She loves to "chill with dad" instead of going to bed, and everything will happen "in 40 minutes mom".  She is so big!

This weekend Chris went down to Vegas to watch the Mountain West Conference Basketball tournament. I decided it was time to come visit my grandparents in Boise. Here are some pictures my grandpa took at dinner. (He always takes us to Marie Calendars). They love the company and I think it is important that the kids spend time with their great grandparents. I feel really lucky that they are still alive.

Life Begins After Thirty!

People who were thirty always seemed so old! Now that I am thirty they seem SO young! Last weekend we went to Arizona to celebrate my 30th birthday with my twin brother Andy. We had a really good time hanging out! We went to the Phoenix Zoo, ate at Magianos Italian Restaurant (a must go to if you are near one!), rented a karaoke, machine and made complete fools of ourselves, I got a pedicure and we played outside in the warm weather. I was spoiled by Chris and my parents! Hey, you only turn thirty once right? It was great to be with my brother on our birthday...it had been a while. I will post some pictures of the weekend in a couple days.

Last weekend we went up to East Canyon with some of the Wilson's and the Wrights.  We had a really good time.  We hung out at a condo, went sledding on a crazy big hill, and had fun chilling with family and friends.  Thanks for the invite Raisy!  

Choosing the Left

Yesterday Connor went to the CTR 5 class for the first time.  He was pretty excited.  They talked about Choosing the right.  Last night before bed Connor didn't want to say prayers so I told him that if he choose to say prayers he would be choosing the right.  He looked at me and said, If I don't say my prayers am I choosing the left? It was pretty funny.  He is really trying to figure everything out.
